WDI offers youth and young adults a variety of activities focused on life and work skills as well as career preparation. Our services and philosophy revolve around two basic concerns for youth and young adults:
- Completing high school (or the equivalent) coursework and
- Aligning their skills and interests with meaningful employment.
Our youth counselors listen to your needs and understand each person is an individual. We believe that everyone can reach his or her goals.
Activities include:
- Subsidized employment
- Personal and/or career mentoring
- Computer skills
- GED preparation
- College-based training
- Life skills
We also offer hands-on instruction to help youth and young adults develop work-related skills including:
- Time management
- Resource management
- Leadership development
